Commuters are transported to and from airports by airport transportation drivers. They may also be in charge of assisting people with checked baggage, responding to questions about tourist landmarks or services, and so on. Working as an airport shuttle driver, one should be well in the rules and regulations governing their sector. This means understanding how to appropriately lift and move passengers and their backpacks onto the bus and realizing when to use a blinker, sirens, and other warning devices.
Duties Need to be Done by Shuttle Drivers:
- To guarantee safe driving practices, monitor traffic patterns, and communicate with other drivers and operators.

- Assisting disabled commuters by offering wheelchair help and support, trying to retrieve objects from checked baggage, and delivering other assistance as required.
- Driving people on the plane on a planned path to their desired location or continuing to drive them to a place where they may catch some other type of transportation, including a bus or train.

An airport shuttle driver must be adept in a few skills, though. First and foremost, they must be a good driver. They need to know how to navigate tight spaces and crowds since it is paramount for them to be present on time. They also need to have a good knowledge of the important highways and roads in the city. Good navigational skills come in handy when you have a tight schedule and the most promising path cannot be used due to unavoidable circumstances. Moreover, expertise in maneuvering heavy transportation is also preferred in this role.
